"YARKHILL, a parish in the hundred of Radlow, county Hereford, 7 miles N.W. Of Ledbury, and 7. N.E. of Hereford, on the river Frome. Part of the land is in hop gardens. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford, value £130, in the patronage of the dean and chapter. The church is dedicated to St. John the Baptist."
