HARLING WEST, a village 1½ miles W.S.W. of East Harling. The parish comprises 3166 acres, and contained in 1841, 117 inhabitants; its present residents are:-

         Kerridge A.              gamekeeper
         Pymar    Thomas          farmer & steward
         Ridley   Rev. C.J. M.A.  (rectory)
         Ringer   John            farmer
