"CUTTLESTONE, a hundred in the middle division of the county of Stafford; it is separated into two divisions, E. and W. the E. contains the parishes of Brewood, Baswick, Castle-Church, Cannock, Shareshill, Rugeley, Teddesley-Hay, and parts of Penkridge, Bushbury, and Wolverhampton; the W. the parishes of Blymhill, Bradley, Church Eaton, Forton, Gnosall, Haughton, Lapley, Norbury, Weston-under-Lizard, and parts of Penkridge and Sheriff Hales, comprising together about 105,500 acres."
