The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Ballydeloughy contained the following places:

"BALLYDELOUGHY, (or Ballylough), a parish in the barony of Fermoy, in the county of Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 4 miles from Mitchelstown. It lies in a fertile district, abounding in limestone, near the river Funcheon. The living is a vicarage, part of the union of Gianworth, in the diocese of Cork, Cloyne, and Ross. There are remains of the church, and of Ballylough Castle.
