The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Ballylanders contained the following places:

"BALLYLANDERS, (or Balinlondry), a parish in the barony of Coshlea, in the county of Limerick, province of Munster, Ireland, 13 miles to the E. of Charleville. It is situated near the border of Cork, in a fertile district containing a tract of bog. The living is a rectory included in the union of Duntrileague, in the diocese of Cashel, Emly, Waterford, and Lismore. The ruined church is near the village. There is a Roman Catholic chapel.
