The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Derrypatrick contained the following places:

"DERRYPATRICK, (or Derpatrick), a parish in the barony of Lower Deece, in the county of Meath, province of Leinster, Ireland, 3 miles W. of Dunshaughlin, its post town. It is situated on the road from Summerhill to Skryne, and comprises the hamlets of Batterjohn and Derrypatrick. The living is an impropriate rectory and vicarage united to Knockmark, in the diocese of Meath. In the Roman Catholic arrangement the parish forms part of the union of Kilmore.
