In 1868, the parish of Greenoge contained the following places:

"GREENOGE, a parish in the barony of Ratoath, county Meath, province of Leinster, Ireland, 5 miles S.W. of Dunboyne. Ratoath is its post town. The road from Dublin to Slane passes through the interior. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ratoath, value £595, in the patronage of the crown.
