The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Kilberry contained the following places:

"KILBERRY, a parish in the barony of Morgallion, county Meath, province of Leinster, Ireland, 4 miles N. of Navan, its post town. The parish contains the villages of Kilberry and Wilkinstown. It is 2 miles long, and the same broad. The surface consists generally of a good soil, with some bog. The roads from Slane to Kells, and from Dublin to Clones, traverse the interior. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Meath, value with Donaghpatrick, £380. The Roman Catholic chapel is united to that of Oristown. There are two day schools.'"
