The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Ballymore contained the following places:

"BALLYMORE, a parish in the barony of Forth, in the county of Wexford, province of Leinster, Ireland, 7 miles to the S. of Wexford. The living is a rectory united with that of Tacumshin, in the diocese of Ossory, Ferns, and Leighlin. There is a Roman Catholic chapel, but no church."
