"WESTON, a parish in the hundred of Wangford, county Suffolk, 2½ miles S. of Beccles. The village is situated on the road to Halesworth. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich, value £350, in the patronage of the lord chancellor. The church is dedicated to St. Peter. The hall is now a farmhouse."
