The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Llanllawddog contained the following places:
"LLANLLAWDDOG, a parish in the hundred of Elvet, county Carmarthen, 7 miles N.E. of Carmarthen, its post town. It includes the village of Rhydyrgane. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of St. David's, value with that of Llanpympsaint, £150. The church is dedicated to St. Llawddog. There is a Calvinistic Methodist chapel."
"RHYDYRGANE, a village in the parish of Llanllawddog, county Carmarthen, 6 miles N.E. of Carmarthen."
